FANTASY OUTLOOK
Top 5 Rostered in ESPN Fantasy
#1
Brandin Cooks (WR)

The veteran wide-out has seen better opportunities in the past with other teams, but at this time he is the #1 target for this Houston offense. Without Watson starting at QB, I would stay away from starting Cooks at this time, but he is definitely worthy of a bench spot.
#2
David Johnson (RB)

Far removed from his glory days in Arizona, Johnson still remains the best RB option for the Texans, however, I would stay away from having him on your roster. The backfield will be crowded with other veterans Mark Ingram, Phillip Lindsay, and Rex Burkhead.
#3
Phillip Lindsay (RB)

There really is no reason to have Lindsay on your lineup this year, unless something were to happen to David Johnson. His efficiency numbers have continued to fall since his 2018 rookie campaign.
#4
Deshaun Watson (QB)

There is no reason to believe at this time that Watson will be a starting QB in the NFL in 2021. Some fantasy players are holding on hope that he may get traded to another team eventually and start elsewhere, but at this time I would stay away.
#5
Mark Ingram (RB)

Well past his prime, the former Heisman trophy winner finds himself in a crowded RB room in Houston. With all due respect to the veteran, we will not be needing his services in fantasy football any longer.
Sleeper Candidate
Nico Collins (WR)

There could be a possible chance that another receiver besides Cooks becomes fantasy relevant this year. Keep Collins on your radar. The 2021 3rd Round pick has the potential to become the No. 2 option in Houston this season but don’t consider adding him to your team anytime soon.
