FANTASY OUTLOOK

Top 5 Rostered in ESPN Fantasy

#1

Saquon Barkley (RB)
99.9%

Barkley is a consensus 1st round pick in all fantasy football draft formats right now and rightfully so. He dominated the league in his 2018 rookie season and continued that success into his sophomore campaign prior to an injury. Another injury haunted him in 2020 that sidelined him almost the entire season. Hopefully, we see Barkley bounce back this year and reemerge as an elite fantasy RB.

#2

Kenny Golladay (WR)
93.3%

After 4 years with Detroit, Golladay comes to New York ready to bounce back from an injury plagued 2020 season. Not a lot of reliable receiver targets on this team, so he has the potential for high volume but production could be limited by poor QB play. Golladay should be rostered in fantasy at this time but I wouldn’t consider him a starter.

#3

Graham Gano (K)
82.7%

Looking for a consistent kicker? This is someone you should add to your team. Gano has been one of the most accurate kickers in the NFL for the past several seasons and with an improved offense in New York, he will most likely have more opportunities for scoring.

#4

Evan Engram (TE)
53.9%

After a promising rookie season in 2017, Engram has slowly lost fantasy relevance in recent years. Most of this is due to a series of injuries he’s faced and weak offense, but his efficiency has also diminished significantly while his drops have increased. Do not add Engram to your team any time soon. Plenty of better TEs out there.

#5

Sterling Shepard (WR)
17.9%

Once again, another Giant who has had a career haunted by lingering injuries. Shepard gets plenty of targets while on the field, however this usually only results in short yard plays and hardly ever any red zone looks. Only reason to consider him for your team is if something were to happen to Golladay.

Sleeper Candidate

Devontae Booker (RB)
9.1%

Now this might be a reach because he is essentially the backup, but we have seen Saquon deal with significant injuries the past 2 years allowing other Giants RBs to get some action. Don’t think about adding him to your team at this moment but pay attention to the health status of Barkley and if he is expected to miss time, pick up Booker.
