FANTASY OUTLOOK
Top 5 Rostered in ESPN Fantasy
#1
Christian McCaffrey (RB)
99.9%
Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports
McCaffrey is the consensus #1 overall player in fantasy drafts this year. This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone considering the impact he has had in his career. He finished 2nd overall in 2018 and first overall in 2019 before an injury caused him to only play 3 games in 2020. In those 3 games, he scored 27.0, 22.8, and 32.1 fantasy points (Half PPR). There is no question surrounding his dominance in fantasy football so if he is on your team, keep him at the RB1 slot all year long.
#2
DJ Moore (WR)

Moore is right on the cusp of being a WR2 in fantasy this year. After a very productive 2019 season, Moore’s fantasy output was slightly less consistent in 2020. His volume still remained the same, despite poor QB play, but he was not able to get in the end zone enough to really scream fantasy value. Keep him in the flex slot for now.
#3
Robby Anderson (WR)

Anderson definitely elevated his fantasy appeal last year with the Panthers after spending his early years on the Jets. He reached career highs in receptions, targets and fantasy yards in this Matt Rhule offense. He should remain relevant in 2021 but you probably shouldn’t start him at this time. Pay attention to the competition for targets between Anderson and Moore and that will help you decide if he should be started.
#4
Terrace Marshall Jr. (WR)

Sleeper Candidate
Marshall joins this Panthers team this year as a rookie out of LSU. He will be going straight into action in the slot role in this receiving group. With Anderson and Moore playing the outside, you can expect Marshall to receive lots of targets up the middle. He has already put on a show in the preseason and he should be a fun player to watch this year. Maybe hold off on adding him for a little while but revisit him again shortly.
#5
Chuba Hubbard (RB)
13.5%
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports
This 4th round draft pick out of Oklahoma State comes to the Panthers this year as Christian McCaffrey’s back up. You may see Hubbard get some limited opportunities in situational roles but he should not be on your fantasy radar at this time. McCaffrey is expected to be an every down RB for Carolina in 2021 so leave Hubbard off your team.
